Growing up in Drayton Valley, I have seen a diverse need for counsellors and therapists in town. My previous career and life experience took me into the realms of the Canadian Armed Forces as a Reserve Military Police Officer as well as working as a volunteer with the Drayton Valley Brazeau County Fire Services as a fire fighter/pump operator. A physical injury led me into counselling as I could no longer perform the physical requirements of those careers. Being a single parent, I have the understanding and knowledge of balancing the work, life, parent and even school load that comes along with raising a child.

Graduating in April 2022 from Yorkville University with my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and registered as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C.) through CCPA. I am currently working towards completing the final required credentials to become a Registered Provisional Psychologist through the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

I specialize in trauma associated with military and first responder situations, as well as domestic violence and sexual assault. I have experience in working with those who have ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, chronic pain, depression, grief, self-esteem, self-harming, stress, and suicidal ideation.
